ONE COOL COOKIE (Charlie Swan) RAN on into third behind Hello Bud in the Becher Chase at Aintree. The nine-year-old (pictured left) could be an interesting National horse. He generally jumped the big obstacles well and the step up to the marathon 4m4f and the likely better underfoot conditions could see him run a big race next April. He is currently an interesting 50-1 in William Hill's ante-post list.
TOUBAB (Paul Nicholls) A SCINTILLATING success at Haydock last week gave notice that this novice hurdler could reach the very top. It was the grey's first victory, but he had previously been second to Triumph Hurdle winner Soldatino and fourth in the Swinton Handicap Hurdle over course and distance.
