Summary
DETECTIVES were today hunting a sex attacker who struck in the early hours on a south Liverpool road.
The victim was walking alone along Ullet Road, Sefton Park, at around 2am when she was approached by a man she didn't know. It is thought the man punched the woman, who is in her early 20s, before subjecting her to a harrowing sex attack. It is understood she made it home and police were called. Officers were hoping to interview her later today. Crime scene investigators this morning cordoned off the area close to the junction with Cumberland Avenue at the Smithdown Road end of the street as they searched for clues.See the full content of this document
