THROUGH your letters' page, may I thank the dedication of the refuse crews who have collected the bin bags in Kensington Fields over the past few years.

As the collections change, I can only hope that the new teams can emulate their predecessors. Being a high transient area of Liverpool, with a large number of students, it is a constant battle to educate new neighbours that we are not a 24/7 collection zone when few landlords inform them of collection days, hence a very high propensity of fly-tipping.
