UNION chief Tony Woodley welcomed fresh funding for Jaguar Land Rover - but warned the car maker still faces tough challenges.

The company which currently employs 2,000 staff making the Jaguar X-Type and Land Rover Freelander at Halewood, confirmed a range of commercial loans including a pounds 75m deal with Bank of Ireland subsidiary Burdale to ease financial pressures on the group.
