ACOUPLE of years ago my nephew, his wife and their two young sons moved to south west France near Bordeaux to start a new life. I get regular updates of their progress and they're always doing things with their boys in seemingly glorious weather.
So I was looking forward to winter sunshine when I flew out - but it was drizzling, grey and overcast when we landed at Bordeaux airport.
