Summary
THREE people were killed and 576 employees suffered serious injuries while at work in Merseyside this year, according to new figures.
The number of fatal accidents in the region between April 2009 and the end of March this year is the same as the previous year, but the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) hopes that the figures will encourage employers across the region to ensure their workers are kept safe in 2011.See the full content of this document
