Tevez Fine Halved After Union Ruling

MANCHESTER CITY have confirmed Carlos Tevez will be fined only two weeks' wages for misconduct following a ruling from the Professional Footballers' Association.

City intended to fine the Argentinian four weeks' wages after ruling he was guilty of refusing to play against Bayern Munich last month. However, the PFA have refused to sanction a fine above two weeks' wages - the maximum permitted without the union's consent.
