CONFERENCE strugglers Forest Green Rovers are the latest club to enquire about the availability of Chester City's out-of-favour striker Darryn Stamp.
The Gloucestershire outfit are managed by Alan Lewer, who spent a short spell at City as a scout, prior to leaving the club at the beginning of August with Mark Wright. Stamp, who turned down a move to Scarborough last week, has found first team appearances limited since he returned from injury last month, is expected to give Lewer a response in the next few days.See the full content of this document
