OVER THE last few years, Liverpool have bought too many players with potential. We need to buy proven Premiership players if we are to be crowned champions of England once again.

We should get rid of players like Garcia, Morientes, Traore and Kewell, and if we can, replace them with Shaun Wright-Phillips, Kevin Nolan and Michael Owen. If not Owen, then Jermain Defoe, as he's always on the Spurs bench and is a genuine goalscorer.
