A SENIOR Merseyside police officer has denied the unauthorised accessing of personal data controlled by the police.
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Lawlor, 43, was based in the Intelligence and Security Bureau at the force's Canning Place headquarters at the time of his arrest in June. He is suspended from duty. He appeared before Liverpool magistrates yesterday and entered not guilty pleas to six charges. Lawlor was bailed to appear back at the court on January 10.See the full content of this document
