WIRRAL West MP Stephen Hesford has made a New Year's resolution to make 2004 the year hunting is banned.

Mr Hesford, one of Labour's most outspoken critics of hunting, has pledged to push for the Hunting Bill, to outlaw all hunting with dogs, to be reintroduced to Parliament at the earliest opportunity. He said: "My constituents have repeatedly told me that they want to see an end to the horrific cruelty of hunting with dogs.
