FIRST ever Chester FC boss Neil Young has revealed he was head- hunted by the club. Created in the aftermath of Chester City's demise, the phoenix outfit appointed Young after a whirlwind 48 hours of talks.

Despite applying for candidates and attracting names such as Rob Smith and Dave Challinor, the Deva Stadium side looked further afield and were granted permission by parent club Colwyn Bay to speak with the 35-year-old Young.
