ST HELENS Recs' proud unbeaten record was ended by a four-wicket defeat at the hands of second placed Alder.

David Heyes' men had rattled off 14 straight wins but they were beaten after only mustering 148 all out. Stuart Lyon (50) received little support as Muhammad Masroor took 4-35 and Lance Mulholland 3- 47 and Alder triumphed thanks to Mark Brick (39) and Masroor (47no).
