I AM trying to trace information regarding my grandfather (surname O'Farrell, Christian name I think was John). He may have been a Liverpool man. He was a sergeant in the King's Liverpool Regiment, stationed in Curragh in Ireland in 1901 and was then posted out to South Africa. He would have been about 37 at that time.

I have checked First World War records and he doesn't appear to have been killed. Any help on finding some information on him would be greatly appreciated. Please write to Brian L Dummer at The Beeches,
