IT may not be as shameful as Britain releasing the Lockerbie bomber for Gaddafi's 40th anniversary celebrations, but Barack Obama's decision to postpone a meeting with the Dalai Lama for fear of overshadowing China's 60th anniversary celebrations is a(nother) sign of weakness.
Notwithstanding Mr Obama campaigning on the mantra of "change", I doubt anybody anticipated the 44th President of the United States to be the first one not to welcome the Nobel peace prize winner to the White House since he began visiting Washington in 1991.See the full content of this document
