Summary
THE aesthetics of renovating Liverpool"s first tower block in Sefton Park is questionable, given the unconvincing so-called fresh lustre already given to some slightly later first generation high- rise projects locally.
Having said that, prior to the regular sagas of broken lifts and dirty landings and corridors, I can recall many 60s photo-stories in the ECHO of smiling, cheerful residents pegging out their washing, with background views of Mersey ships, the Wirral and North Wales.See the full content of this document
