LINDSAY Shaw was the star of Merseyside Girls' thumping 9-0 victory over Greater Manchester in Rusholme Park, Leverhulme, in the Under-16 Northern Counties competition.

Shaw netted four times, and substitute Danielle Sheen scored twice. The other goals were scored by Aimy Seagraves, Francesca Williams and Faye McCoy.
