Q: I have worked for my employer for a number of years as a production operative on the factory floor. About 18 months ago I was involved in an accident at work, and have suffered from back problems since then which has meant I have been unable to go to work.
My employers have now requested that I undergo a medical examination to see if I am fit to continue in my job or if there are light duties I can go on. I do not really want my employers prying into my business like this, especially when I had the accident at work, and wonder if they could do anything if I refused to co- operate with them?See the full content of this document
