SO we finally see the Mathew Street Festival fiasco report. Many will be sceptical that it conveniently shifts the majority of blame onto officers who have long-since resigned.

Many will also be surprised that the organisation of a premier event seems to have been such a shambles. However, the most alarming thing is the unwillingness of council leadership to take responsibility for financial incompetency
