I READ an article in the ECHO (Oct 12) regarding the Mersey Shanty Festival by Ben Turner, saying how Phil Redmond has planned to bring it back from the dead. Can I just say congratulations to both.

Firstly to Mr Redmond, that he sees how vital these public events are to Liverpool in the forthcoming months, and secondly to the ECHO, for bringing it to our attention.
