RE: "U534" (Joe Riley column, ECHO, Oct 25), I don't know who made the decision to dissect this piece of maritime history, but it is a serious blunder.
Whereas people previously could walk through "U534" from stem to stern and get a hands-on feel of a U-boat and did so in large numbers during the years it was on display. Now visitors will only be able to gaze through a window, a very poor substitute.See the full content of this document
