WHEN our son was born in 1945, he was given the name Charles.
Friends seemed puzzled, why such a name? I would say that it had been my father's name and it was a name I loved. When our dearly loved Queen had her first son, she named him Charles. That was in 1948. Suddenly, Charles became a very acceptable name.See the full content of this document
