IT IS great news that restoration work is to start on the Victorian Stanley Park. Merseyside's parks and gardens are inspirational. In fact, Birkenhead Park inspired New York's Central Park which is a great tribute to the city's fathers.
Sefton Park with its Palm House and Calderstones Park, both in South Liverpool, are wonderful, well-kept places to visit especially when there are the park rangers on hand to talk about our environmental heritage.See the full content of this document
