I'M writing in response to your article in the Liverpool ECHO (Help plea after boy expelled for biting teacher, April 27, 2004) regarding the autistic young man Sean Clare being expelled from his 'Special School'.
My son has autism so I greatly sympathise with his mum Linda. Children with autism spectrum disorders may be more likely than other children to develop challenging behaviour. However, careful management can help prevent problems or reduce the likelihood of patterns of challenging behaviour becoming entrenched.See the full content of this document
