'James Can Be a Paralympian'

JAMES POUT was crowned under-14s British disability butterfly swimming champion as his coach declared: He can go as far as the Paralympics.

The 10-year-old from St Helens, who clinched the title at the DSE/ AS A National Swimming Championships in Sheffield, has Erbs Palsy, a condition which forces him to swim one-armed as he cannot rotate his left shoulder or lift his arm above the horizontal.
