MERSEYSIDE Police was cleared of allegations a 31-yearold woman was assaulted and stripped naked after she was arrested.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations after a court judgement criticised officers and quashed the woman's convictions for assaulting a police officer and a public order offence.
