ROYAL Liverpool hospital today unveiled plans to save its pounds 500m rebuilding project and keep it in the city centre. The hospital will present its ideas when it fights for the future of the new centre at a public inquiry next week.

The hospital will formally object to plans to plough a pounds 10m bypass through its first-choice site, next to existing buildings.
