GOVERNMENT plans for compulsory home Seller's Packs, which could cost around pounds 1,000 each, have come under attack.

Shadow secretary for Local Government and Communities Caroline Spelman said the packs, which will contain a home condition report, survey, energy efficiency information and other details 'will do nothing to stop gazumping or speed up buying a house'.
