JUST how bad have you got to be to get a Blue Badge? Earlier this year Jane Joseph from Crown Productions was on her way to Majorca from Liverpool John Lennon Airport when she experienced a terrible accident. She was run over by a car in the airport drop off/ pick up zone, resulting in a severe compound fracture with her right leg badly broken in three places.
If it were not for the expert care of the crash trauma team at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital she would have lost her leg through amputation. This horrendous accident led to her spending a month in hospital and four operations in 10 days as the hospital's team performed a feat of engineering to save the leg.See the full content of this document
