THE Federation Internationale de Natation, the world governing body of swimming, has rejected 10 high-tech swimming suits following a review after more than 100 world records were broken in 18 months.

Among the 10 suits which do not appear on the approved list are the Arena X-Glide and the Jaked 01, worn by Frenchmen Alain Bernard and Fred Bousquet respectively in recent swims.
