Field was pleased with the big improvement in performance after home defeats to Carlisle and Wigan Athletic in the previous two games.

Shrewsbury Town Youth 1 Tranmere Rovers Youth 5 TRANMERE bounced back to form in the Football League Youth Alliance with a five goal romp at Shrewsbury. Ellis Healing scored twice with Stephen Wainwright, Lewis Dunne and Jordan Holmes also on target.
