6am: Alarm goes off and I pick out something warm to wear as I'm outside for most of the day on site visits. 7.30am: I enjoy breakfast, then check my emails and make sure my meetings and destinations are in my iPhone before planning my route as I have meetings across the country with clients. 8am: Set off to Birmingham as I need to agree how many stalls I'm running this year, if they are the same products, check staff requirements and make sure our accommodation is in place. Last year we had 15 market stalls all selling Christmas decorations and we beat the required target by 25%. I now have stalls of my own in Liverpool to run, as well as all the events through my events company, Auriel Events Services.

11.30am: I have a meeting with a shopping centre in Liverpool for my first Christmas lights switch-on in the city centre. I'm really excited about this as I am also preparing for another light switch- on in Stoke. The meeting went well, I couldn't see any health or safety problems, just need to fill in the necessary documentation and have it approved by Safety Advisory Group (SAG).
