DAVID HAZEL sits in the wheelchair in which he will be confined for the rest of his life and gazes at his three-year-old son Ethan.

The father-of-three says simply: 'It is my family which keeps me going. And little Ethan is my inspiration' David, 35, was the victim of a senseless random shooting which left him paralysed after a ball bearing severed his spinal chord.
