A DEJECTED Sylvain Distin refused to point the finger of blame at Jan Mucha for the howler which gifted Chelsea the lead in Everton's eventful Carling Cup exit at Goodison.

The Blues' stand-in goalkeeper let a first-half Solamon Kalou strike slip through his hands to give Andre Villas-Boas' side the advantage, and Leighton Baines saw his second half penalty saved by opposition keeper Petr Cech in the fourth round tie last night.
