JUST to say what is happening in Liverpool? We have a lovely waterfront, the Albert Dock, with shops, cafes, flats etc, and Liverpool One lovely shopping centre, a stone's throw away.
There you get some architect from the other side of the world to talk you into a monstrosity of a building with more shops, flats etc, which blocks our Three Graces - who passed it? This week we have a picture of the new Royal Hospital, wow at what price? You cannot afford the staff to run the hospital. If many others go into hospital we won't be looking at the outside of the building - we would be looking forward to getting better! Who was this architect! Then we have Edge Lane: those lovely houses just need upgrading. You replaced them with what looks like maisonettes. Who was this architect?
