THERE was many an exciting encounter in the Scotland Road league matches and friendlies this weekend.

In the under-8s friendlies, Crocky Tigers (Hynes 2) beat Flames 2- 0, MacRangers edged out Crocky Lions (Koffi,Walsh) 3-2 thanks to Cassidy's hat-trick, and Crocky Red had a great day beating McDavo 14-1. Harlock hit six for the victors,WCruckshank bagged a treble, and there were also goals for Lee (2), S Cruckshank, Radcliffe and Williams.
