MINISTERS have given Liverpool pounds 5m to spruce up the city centre in time for Capital of Culture celebrations.
It will be used to clean the brickwork of historic buildings and light up some of Liverpool's best-known landmarks, similar to St George's Hall It will also fund public artwork schemes, such as new statues, and the tidying up of city parks.See the full content of this document
