CHARLIE STOKER found the net four times in Town Green under-9s' 8- 1 win over Hesketh Bank, Townson and Hackett also bagging a brace each.

They were put firmly in the shade, though, by their second string, who ran out 17-0 winners, McLean grabbing five, Turner four, Muirhead and Dwyer three and John Cain two. In the under-11s, Toby Nicklin's hat-trick and Harrison-Pope's brace saw Southport beat Forefield 5-4. Town Green beat Winsfield 11-1 with four of Town's players scoring braces (Tay-lor, Maher, Giller, Gray), Parrott, Mullin and Lennon adding the others.
