AROUND 800 protesters surged past Secret Service barricades in a bid to prevent US president George Bush from visiting the grave of Martin Luther King on what would have been the civil rights leader's 75thbirthday.
Activists booed near the Atlanta grave site yesterday, furious that Bush was there. They pushed past Secret Service barricades and pounded on the sides of city buses parked on the street in front of King's tomb to block them from the president's motorcade.
