RE: Liverpool Loop Line trees. Do they cause you any problems? i.e. their height/width, the amount of trees, seeding in your gardens/drains/gutters, cutting out valuable sunlight to your property? If you have any such problems, have you tried Sustrans who are responsible for the maintenance of linear park, to do something about your grievance? For over 20 years I have tried to get Sustrans to do what I believe is their responsibility, to manage mainly sycamores, so they do not affect any house or property which borders this old railway line.

Residents who have to live along the linear park 365 days a year should not have to put up with any problems, caused by these pests, including extra work and costs. Over a year ago I asked for the help of my local councillor but it would appear Sustrans are a law unto themselves.
