Born To Shine (ITV1, Monday, 8pm) What"s It All About? IT'S relatively easy to see why some members of the public insist on auditioning for The X Factor, despite being apparently tone deaf - it's away to get on the telly.
But why would the nation's celebs, who already get to appear on the small screen thanks to their day jobs, risk the humiliation of going on a talent show to demonstrate a skill they don't actually possess? Well, in the case of this programme, it's because it's all in a very good cause. As well as giving us the potential to see famous people looking very uncomfortable on national TV (and let's face it, who doesn't enjoy the sight of a rich-beyond-his-dreams celebrity squirming in front of a live audience?), the show is also supporting Save the Children, with all proceeds raised going towards the charity.See the full content of this document
