MANYpeople have been suggesting that the PoppyAppeal is out of date and asking, "Why dowe have to support the PoppyAppealwhen we have already supported Help4Heroes?" Help4Heroes pays for help and facilities at Headley Court and other centres with the result thatmany casualties, even amputees, find their way back into military service instead of medically discharged as used to be the case. Help4heroes only assists casualties since 9/11 - Sept 11, 2001.
The on-going financial support that casualties require is provided by the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal along with help to the many thousandswhowere injured in body and mind in previous campaigns,which many of the public have either forgotten or didn't knowanything about.See the full content of this document
