"We wanted to do something to raise funds for a piece of equipment as well as show that you can still look fabulous when you've had breast cancer," explains Donna Murray, clinical breast cancer nurse practitioner based at Aintree who works closely with the Marina Dalglish Unit.

"We're thrilled with the result. I think it gave all the women a real confidence boost. They all looked fantastic.

"We hope it's an inspiration to others too to see that a diagnosis of breast cancer doesn't mean you can't dress up to the nines and look stunning."
