SINCE playing in Liverpool for the first time last year, Chloe Hanslip has dropped the label of being a "child prodigy" and settled for being called an international violinist.

And not without reason. With two concerts at Carnegie Hall to her credit and debuts in Paris and Lisbon planned, the now 16-year-old virtuoso has no need of gimmick marketing -- even if she has been playing the violin since the age of two.
